Spartanics-Systec has released the Spartanics Fineprint Cylinder Screen Printing Line, a cylinder-configured screen printing system. The Spartanics-Systec Fineprint Cylinder Screen Printing systems are custom-built for maximum efficiency and optimum yields. Some of the features include the ability to handle any pre-printed material from any printing process (flexo, digital, etc.), automatic compensation for screen stretch or shrink for the handling of multiple print passes, and the ability to handle substrates as thin as 12 microns. Rapid electronic controls replace time-consuming manual adjustments and can store up to 2500 job parameters for setting up repeat jobs in just a few keystrokes, the company says.

3M - Structured adhesive

3M Performance Label Materials with Structured Adhesive helps prevent bubble trouble caused from entrapment or outgassing. Microchannels throughout the structured adhesive allow air to flow freely from between the label adhesive and substrate. 3M says that even when labels are used on injection-molded plastic parts, bubbles that form from plastic outgassing can be smoothed to retain a neat graphic appearance.

The new Tharo Systems H-400/H-600 Series thermal transfer product identification and bar code label printers, available in 203 or 300 DPI, feature a durable all metal construction with a cast aluminum center wall for added strength.
