ASL Group (All Stick Label), of Toronto, ON, Canada, has announced the acquisition of a new Gallus RCS 330 press. President and CEO Charlie MacLean says that the investment is “in response to market trends and more specifically customer demand.”
The servo-driven, high end press, he adds, “allows us to better respond to the ever changing packaging needs of our customers. Our customers are looking for packaging which will help sell their product, increase market share and communicate brand strategies.”
The press has 12 multi-purpose stations (three with screen print compatibility), and an auto-print registration system capable of 0.002" tolerances. “We understand that our customers compete on the most competitive battleground, the retail shelf,” MacLean says. “The Gallus technologies and ASL’s industry experience provide the ultimate competitive advantages for our customers.”
In the near future, ASL Group will announce details of an expansion of manufacturing capacity at its plant in Winston-Salem, NC, USA.
ASL Group was established in 1965, and is a supplier of pressure sensitive labels, flexible packaging and direct mail envelopes. It serves the food, beverage, health and beauty, automotive, promotional, household, and security markets in North America. More information is available at www.allsticklabel.com.
