“One of the most reported headaches and problems from the packaging industry is getting predictable color on the flexo press,” says Sam Ingram, chairman of the department. “Companies coming to Clemson and other sources for training are constantly inquiring about the power of proofing solutions to predict color with a variety of methods and technologies currently available. That’s why Clemson formed a committee of industry leaders to produce a new event in their Seminar Series titled Digital Proofing for Flexography.”
Each seminar splits the attendees’ time in half with a mix of presentations, discussions and hands-on proofing evaluation led by the proofing vendors themselves. A range of proofing technologies will be available for proof production in the breakouts, including digital halftone, expanded colorant inkjet, continuous and halftone inkjet, soft proofing, multiple color management systems, and more.
Each session is limited to 24 attendees. Registration is $495 per person; the group rate is $450 per person. Click here for more details. Contact Jay Sperry at email@example.com, or call 864-656-4732. To register, click here.
