CMM, the USA’s biennial converting trade show, will feature a converting technology center dedicated to narrow and midweb products. The organizer has announced that bielomatik, J&H Printing Solutions, Propheteer, BST Pro Mark, Martin Automatic, DMS, and Alden & Ott Printing Ink will be among the companies showcasing their equipment in the tech center at the Rosemont Convention Center, June 4-7, in Rosemont, IL, USA.
Designed to help converters understand how they can combine both narrow and midweb converting technologies, the center will feature operating equipment from manufacturers producing various jobs during the entire four days of the show. Produced in conjunction with DiTrolio Flexographic Institute, select conference and training sessions combining the two types of printing will also be offered.
“The new Narrow To Midweb Technology Center fills a critical void in the marketplace, as this is the only event where converters can see both narrow and midweb jobs being produced on the show floor and then attend conference sessions that supplement their hands-on learning,” says Jim Enos, CMM Show Director.
In addition to the Narrow to Midweb Technology Center, CMM also has announced a new “Flexible Packaging Technology Center” that will feature a new Bobst/Schiavi electronic flexo press, Comexi’s Solventless Laminator, Hudson Sharp’s new split-roll bag machine, a new Profama slitter/rewinder, an AirTrim advanced pneumatic trim system, BST Pro Mark inspection solutions, and a variety of other equipment from leading manufacturers.
