Nilpeter, a manufacturer of narrow web label presses headquartered in Slagelse, Denmark, has announced the introduction of its first FBR press.

Nilpeter, a manufacturer of narrow web label presses headquartered in Slagelse, Denmark, has announced the introduction of its first FBR press. BR is short for Brazil. Earlier this year the company began production in concert with a Brazilian partner, according to Sales Director Jakob Landberg. The new press is called the FBR 2500, he says.

“Nilpeter is already highly regarded, thanks to the many years of production in Europe and North America,” says Landberg. “Now Nilpeter is also available in Brazil as a local manufactured label press. By producing machines at Nilpeter do Brazil Ltda. our Brazilian customers will enjoy duty exemption.”

Seven Brazilian printers have bought the press, which is to be officially launched later in July. The FBR press shares many identical features with the Nilpeter FB-Line produced at the company’s plant in North America.
