RotoMetrics, the global rotary die manufacturer, today introduced a new hot stamp system at Labelexpo Europe. According to VP Steve Lee, the new system features a mandrel design with encapsulated oil.
"An electric probe heats encapsulated oil in the mandrel, which heats the brass for the hot stamping," said Lee. "Our new stamping die from UEI runs faster, and offers better distribution of heat."
RotoMetrics also is showcasing its RD200 machine-finished dies, adjustable clearance anvils and multi-port air-eject dies. The company is displaying a comprehensive line of rotary dies and accessories, including flexible dies, magnetic cylinders, CNC and EDM solid dies, print cylinders, specialty dies, sheeters, hot stamping and embossing tools, and pressure gauging systems. RotoMetrics is also discussing its web site MyRoto.com, which offers online ordering and tracking.
