Interfilm Holdings Inc., a distributor of industrial films based in Easley, SC, USA, has acquired the business and assets of Brushfoil LLC, based in Guilford, CT, USA. Brushfoil is a manufacturer of brushed films and papers, and the operation will remain in Guilford.

During the past three years, Brushfoil has accomplished a successful product introduction into Europe, achieved a threefold increase of its Guilford facilities to 15,000 square feet, and in 2007 earned ISO 9001:2000 certification and expanded distribution of its products into the South America market.

“We are pleased to join forces with Brushfoil and to add its products to our portfolio,” says Donnie Thompson, president and CEO of Interfilm. “The two partners of Brushfoil, Jim Parker and Charlie Yetka, have developed an impressive array of exciting capabilities based on proprietary technology. These Brushfoil products have met with excellent acceptance in the market, and we look forward to working with Jim and Charlie to ensure a seamless transition, assuring our customers that they can look forward to receiving the same level of service and quality that they have enjoyed in the past.”

Founded in 1981, privately held Interfilm is a film converter for industrial markets. The company’s other manufacturing locations include Rancho Cucamonga, CA; Glastonbury, CT; and North Aurora, IL, all in the USA.
