“Our industry is a collaborative one. Twenty years ago, when we developed our high speed Prime UV curing system to eliminate VOCs and air pollutions emissions on web presses, we needed to work with press manufacturers and the UV formulation suppliers to develop the processes that would enable printers to run UV inks and coatings at speeds of 2,000 fpm and more,” says Midlik. “We truly appreciate how all the participants in the printing industry are dependent on each other. All the technical innovations we introduced since that time have been with the help and support of our printing customers, other suppliers and our employees.”
“Elinor’s steadfast leadership and guidance have been invaluable to NPES over the years,” says NPES President Ralph J. Nappi. “We appreciate this opportunity to express our thanks to her and look forward to her ongoing involvement.”
Elinor R. Midlik founded Prime UV Systems in 1988. The company is based in Carol Stream, IL, USA.
