SCT International acquires Graphic Options

SCT International, Atlanta, GA, USA, a holding company focused on security printing and brand protection, has acquired Graphic Options, a company that specializes in security design and advanced plate technology. Graphic Options, currently based in Fort Wright, KY, USA, will operate as a division of Sekuworks.

At the same time, SCT International announced that it has named Earl D. Holt, the founder of Graphic Options, as its new vice president of prepress operations.

“The acquisition of Graphic Options marks another critical milestone in the execution of our strategic plan,” says Robert W. Spiller, president and CEO of SCT International. “Graphic Options expands our technology portfolio, products, services, and customer base representing an important step towards our overall goal of creating a global leader in security printing and brand protection. This transaction continues to build on the momentum created in the wake of our previously announced acquisition of Sekuworks in August 2007.”

SCT International is focused on security printing, brand protection, and anti-counterfeiting. Sekuworks,  is a US based full service global brand protection company. Sekuworks has integrated multiple security technologies, including “currency secure” intaglio printing, holography, rotary screen printing, variable data & code insertion; all in a cost effective single pass process.
