MACtac, a global supplier of pressure sensitive adhesive products based in Stow, OH, USA, has introduced a new hybrid adhesive system called Infusion.
Infusion is created from the company's proprietary blend of silicone and adhesive chemistry. According to MACtac, Infusion is the fastest converting adhesive system in the industry. It features aggressive adhesion and superior diecutting and matrix stripping, the company said.
During a presentation, Infusion's performance was discussed: "Infusion Hybrid Adhesive System diecuts and strips at faster speeds and wider webs through label presses – even on weaker face sheets that are often used in thermal transfer applications. During recent trials at the University of Munich in Germany, Infusion became the only product to max out the press. It has been tested at dozens of converters across North America on a multitude of presses and diecutters with 100 percent success."
Most direct thermal and thermal transfer products, including paper and film, are available with Infusion.
