Apex launches UniFli anilox rolls

October 14, 2008

Aluminum body construction is said to decrease weight by 50 percent.

Apex, a manufacturer of anilox rolls for the flexographic industry, has introduced UniFli anilox rolls. The company says that the rolls have a lightweight body construction made of aircraft grade aluminum. A specially developed anodized layer makes the rolls resistant to aggressive inks and common cleaning liquids, according to the company.

Apex says that UniFli anilox rolls will be delivered within 10 working days, and that they feature 50 percent weight reduction for easy handling.

Apex has also introduced a website focused on the label printer, which includes FAQs on printing problems, product information and (coming soon) a webshop for online ordering of the most common machine types.
