Ruco Inks opens UV ink plant in Chicago area

The company introduces several new inks in its expanded UV product line.

Ruco Inks, of Eppstein, Germany, has opened Ruco USA in Wood Dale,
IL. The new division carries the full line of Ruco UV inks, including those for screen printing by both flat and rotary presses, dry and waterless offset, and UV flexo.

With the opening of the new plant comes an expansion of the full UV product line, including 080-UV dry offset ink, a low-migration, ITX-free ink suited for printing at speeds of 600 pieces per minute for the decoration of food packaging cups.

The new Ruco 945-UV screen ink, for printing plastics such as HDPE, PP and PVC, features higher pigmentation for better opacity than previous versions. The UVFX line of UV flexographic inks is also ITX-free, has low odor and can be used at printing speeds of of up to 450 feet per minute.
