TLMI forms LinkedIn group for networking

December 10, 2009

The group is accessible to association members and non-members as well.

The Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute (TLMI) has announced the formation of a LinkedIn group for association members and non-member professionals working in the narrow web marketplace. With over 50 million registered users in more than 200 countries worldwide, LinkedIn is a business-based social networking site that links professionals and organizations, enabling participants to share information and network with one another.

The TLMI LinkedIn Group will be moderated by personnel at the association’s headquarters with assistance from TLMI member Don Kirkland, president of A&M Label. Association members and non-members are invited to link with this group of narrow web professionals, including converters and their suppliers, in addition to other packaging professionals throughout the supply chain.

The TLMI LinkedIn group will be an industry resource where people will have access to press releases, upcoming events, and industry announcements. TLMI’s objective in creating the group is to provide a forum where members can post questions, share information and network with other print industry professionals. The moderators welcome news posts from group members and encourage the use of the group discussion board. The group can be accessed by clicking on the “in” logo on the TLMI website,
