Flint’s Rotec Hybrid Sleeve now produced in Europe

May 17, 2010

The thin-walled sleeve previously had been manufactured only in the US.

To meet increasing demand for printing sleeves, Flint Group Flexographic Products has begun manufacturing Rotec Hybrid Sleeves at its plant in Ahaus, Germany, in addition to current production in Arden, NC, USA.

Rotec Hybrid Sleeves are manufactured with a hard fiberglass composite surface, which is resistant to solvents and inks and stable under temperature and humidity influences, the company says.

The sleeves are available in wall thicknesses from 1mm to 2mm for almost all print repeats and lengths.
