Flint Group, a manufacturer of inks, plates and supplies to the packaging and print media industries, has completed its acquisition of Torda, a Swedish ink manufacturer.
Torda makes printing inks for the packaging markets in Northern Europe, the Balkans and the Middle East, and has a substantial presence in Eastern Europe. The company generated revenues of about €23 million in 2009.
“We will now focus to quickly develop the significant potential of the Torda business within Flint Group’s global packaging inks business building on the excellent fit of Torda’s business model with respect to its geographic reach and its product portfolio,” says Dirk Aulbert, president of Flint Group’s global packaging and narrow web division.
