The Label Printers, Aurora, IL, USA, was a platinum sponsor and workshop presenter for the 2010 International Law Enforcement Intellectual Property (IP) Crime Conference, held October 19-21 in Hong Kong. Co-hosts included Interpol and Hong Kong Customs in partnership with Underwriters Laboratories
Conference presenters and attendees from around the world – representing the law enforcement community, IP and brand owners, anti-counterfeiting product suppliers and others interested in combating the global menace of counterfeiting and piracy – learned about practical operational solutions to common problems. The conference’s theme was “Working Together to Break Organized Crime.”
The Label Printers’ workshop presentation topic was “21st Century Science – Utilizing Technology to Break Organized Crime.” The facilitator was Lori Campbell, chief of operations for the label company. “Since its inception, one of the ongoing themes of this conference is the importance of cooperation and partnership among all of those working to combat counterfeiting and piracy,” said Campbell. “We wanted our session not only to address our topic, but facilitate an exchange of experiences and ideas.”
In addition to its workshop, The Label Printers participated in an exhibit of IP crime-fighting technologies and products.
