The Flint Group is building a new manufacturing plant for packaging and narrow web inks in Savli, near Baroda, India. The company has been present in Indian markets since 2001.
“We already have an ISO 9001-2000 certified mother plant for packaging inks in Bangalore, and blending units in Baroda, Noida and Savli, supported by depots at Pondicherry, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Navi Mumbai, “ says Upal Roy, general manager, Flint Group India. “We are proud to be in a position to support the market even further with our new plant in Savli.”
The plant is under construction and will meet European standards on processes and safety, he adds. It will consist of separate areas for the manufacturing of water based, toluene based and toluene free solvent based inks.
