MACtac Printing Products has enhanced its digital label offering with a series of paper and synthetic film labelstocks qualified for the Xeikon 3000 Series of digital label presses. The materials feature a broad range of facestock options paired with a variety of high-performance adhesives, including MACtac’s patented non-ooze adhesive engineered for clean, dry label edges for less cleanup and faster press runs.
“The digital market continues to show exceptional growth, and MACtac is keeping pace, growing its qualified digital substrates offering to address the needs of the latest digital press technologies,” says Allison Hazel, marketing manager, MACtac Printing Products. “We are pleased to partner with Xeikon to qualify several of our products specifically for Xeikon-based printing, ensuring converters that pairing product and press will result in high quality, exceptionally printed labels.”
The Xeikon 3000 Series of digital label presses includes four models: Xeikon 3500, 3300, 3050, and 3030. All the presses deliver the same print quality and are divided into two maximum web widths: 13” (Xeikon 3300 and 3030) and 20.3” (Xeikon 3500 and 3050). All models can print on a wide range of substrates without pre-coat, including various self-adhesive materials such as co-extruded films, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, polyester, paperboards, paper with weights ranging from 40 to 350 grams per square meter, and transparent and opaque foils.
“We are excited about our partnership with MACtac, as it further broadens the range of substrate options available for digitally printed labels,” says Filip Weymans, business development manager, labels and packaging at Xeikon.
