The Hooven-Dayton Corporation, Dayton, OH, USA, has received 10 awawrds for print excellence from the Printing Industries of Ohio & Northern Kentucky (PIANKO). The company received three gold awards, four silver, and three bronze. Nine of the awards were for flexographic and digital printing; the 10th was for a point-of-purchase label.
This year member companies submitted nearly 500 printed pieces, and three out-of-state expert judges ranked them. “The quality of the entries continue to get better every year, making judging even more difficult,” says PIANKOPresident Jim Cunningham. “Our experienced and professional judges did their job well and identified some incredibly creative work that exemplifies the exceptional quality of work our Ohio and northern Kentucky printers are producing.”
Each of the gold award winners are entered in an association-wide competition for Best of Category and Best of Show prizes that will be awarded in August at a ceremony in Columbus, OH, USA.
