MPS, a Dutch manufacturer of narrow web servo presses, has sold three more label and packaging presses in the Latin America label market. Two of the machines are in Argentina, the third in Mexico.
An EF UV flexo press with 10 printing units will be installed at Autopack SA in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The press will be used to extend the company’s capacity in printing packaging and labels. MPS’ latest model, the EC UV flexo press, will be delivered to Adhe Pel, aso in Buenos Aires. The EC-330 label press, with eight print stations, is the first MPS press for Adhe Pel and is equipped for printing wine labels.
Another EC press, also with eight print units, is headed for Technolito SA in Col. Pensil, Mexico. The EC-410 press is equipped with MPS’ Automated Print Control, and will be employed to manufacture shrink sleeves. “There is a need for a new press line to increase our capacity,” says Juan Antonio Alduncin, general manager of Technolito. “Superb quality in packaging printing, technology and leadership distinguished MPS above other alternatives.”
