Kenneth Stack, for nine years the chief promoter of the EFI Jetrion digital UV inkjet label press, has announced that he will step down from his position as VP/GM on March 31. Sean Skelly, the head of marketing and service for Jetrion, will take over as the head of the Jetrion unit.
“Leaving EFI is not an easy decision for me, as Jetrion has been my focus and passion for the past nine years,” says Stack. “While these nine years have been an incredible experience, my duties have taken me away from my family a little too often. While I love this business, it is time for me to spend some quality time with my kids before they get too old to want me around. He will continue, he says, to work with EFI as a consultant on strategy, technology and product roadmaps. “I cannot thank the EFI team enough for the opportunities they have given to me since our acquisition from Flint in 2006 – it has been and will continue to be a wonderful relationship. I am also happy to report that business has never been better, and I expect to see only continued growth and success from EFI Jetrion.
Skelly spent more than 17 years in the digital printing industry with the Eastman Kodak Company before helping Stack found Jetrion in 2002. He has held a variety of management positions within EFI Jetrion, including most recently director of marketing and service.
