The North East Label Manufacturers Association (NELMA) will hold its 9th Annual Expo and Networking Reception on Thursday, April 28, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Somerset, NJ, USA. The event will run from 1 to 5 pm, and will feature an exhibition hall for suppliers of products and services to the label printing industry. Following the exhibition will be a networking cocktail and buffet reception from 5 to 7 pm. The expo will also include attendance by graphic arts students from Millersville University for an educational seminar.
As of April 18, 40 exhibitors had signed up for the expo, and only two tabletops remained available.
“There will be attendees from various narrow web and label producing companies looking for new vendors or just to network,” says Thomasina McAfee, NELMA trade show coordinator. “This is a low cost show that gets you directly in front of many potential new customers in the Northeast area. We always receive a lot of positive feedback. Don’t miss out on this year’s Expo.”
“We are excited about this year’s expo with digital technology being displayed and a major manufacturer running a press live,” notes Steve Miller, president of NELMA and owner of KeeBar Enterprises, a converter in West Chester, PA, USA.
This year, Gallus will exhibit its recently developed ECS 340 press, also known as the rock press. The company has been touring the United States with a tractor trailer that opens to display the press and accommodate prospective customers. The truck will be parked outside the NELMA Expo area.
NELMA is a 16-year old organization whose events focus on advancing the label manufacturing processes of its members while providing forums for peer and vendor networking. NELMA also provides education by working with technical schools and universities.
