June 22, 2011

The printing company will manufacture tickets for high-speed train travel.

Shanghai Railway Printing, a 73 year old printer based in Shanghai, China, has acquired a Gallus EM 260 press for printing train tickets. The press has five flexo print stations.

In a statement, the company said that its previous experience with the Gallus Group and the high quality and stability of the label press were foremost among its reasons for purchasing the machine. Installation is planned for September this year. Shanghai Railway Printing has a workforce of more than 200.

Gallus, which employs 565 people worldwide, is based in St. Gallen, Switzerland.
