The Flexographic Technical Association (FTA), has opened registration for its 2011 Fall Conference & Tabletop Exhibition, with the theme “Color in Focus." The event will be held at the Marriott Union Station, in St. Louis, MO, October 10-12. The conference is chaired by Dan Collins, Berry Plastics Corporation, and Mark Mazur, DuPont Packaging Graphics.
While the official program is currently being formalized, attendees can look forward to a color-centric agenda focused on topics such as: color standardization; G7TM; Expanded Gamut; consistency and accuracy; beyond 4-color printing; color measurement tools; FIRST (Flexographic Image Reproduction Specifications & Tolerances); and process control.
Additionally, a complimentary pre-conference session on Basic Color Theory, presented by Mazur, will help set the stage for novice attendees. The FTA is offering a discounted rate for attendees who register before September 30. Additionally, those interested in securing a tabletop display can take advantage of reduced exhibitor rates, good through July 30.
