ETI introduces linerless converting press

July 18, 2011

The new equipment will operate at speeds up to 150 meters per minute.

ETI Converting Equipment, a Canadian manufacturer of narrow web presses that enable the converters to assemble pressure sensitive laminated materials and print inline, has introduced linerless Cohesio printing and converting equipment. The machine will operate at speeds up to 150 m/min (492 fpm).

“Substantial savings, high speed automatic application, more labels per roll, front and back printing, no waste, adaptable to existing Cohesio technology – these are some of the features that the linerless Cohesio technology offers,” says ETI’s Yves Lafontaine. “This proven advanced technology is simple and versatile.”

ETI Converting Equipment, based in Boucherville, QC, has more than 200 installations in 35 countries. The company will exhibit its Cohesio technology at Labelexpo Europe 2011 in Brussels this year at booth 5C30.
