Illert Etiketten has recently installed an OMET VaryFlex-F1 press at its production facility in Hanau, near Frankfurt. The new OMET is an 8-color unit with a web width of 670 mm. In a statement, manager Maxmilian Illert said he believes that the versatility of this press will allow the company to become “an all-around partner to its customers.”
“On our VaryFlex-F1,” said Illert, who manages the company with his mother, Monika Illert, “we are able to create new types of self-adhesive labels, such as peel and seal, and other projects that we are working on, which are still secret. VaryFlex-F1 was the right choice to develop our business."
According to Illert, the decision to install an OMET press was a careful one. “We carried out strict tests on the VaryFlex-F1 and other competitive machines, which proved conclusively that the print quality of OMET's press was superior on all flexible materials, even the most difficult ones like 12 micron BOPP films."
Founded in 1856, lllert Etiketten has focused since 1999 on role-adhesive labels.
