Label & Narrow Web magazine has appointed Catherine Diamond to be its new associate editor. She will cover industry events and write feature articles, as well as write news and administer various departments for the print and online versions of the publication.
Diamond is a graduate of William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ, USA, with degrees in journalism and elementary education. Her work experience includes newspaper reporting for the Herald News in New Jersey, and book publishing with Pearson Education.
She succeeds Steve Katz, who held the post from February 2008 to July 2011. Katz has been named managing editor of Nonwovens Industry, a sister publication at L&NW’s parent company, Rodman Publishing.
“Working with Steve has been rewarding and enjoyable,” says Jack Kenny, editor of L&NW. “We all wish him the best in his new management position. And we welcome Catherine to our team, and look forward to working with her in this fascinating industry.”
