Primera updates its CX1200e and FX1200e

The software and firmware updates include additional language support and batch printing, among others.

Primera Technology, Inc., a manufacturer of specialty printers, has announced a number of major software and firmware updates to its CX1200e Color Label Press and FX1200e Digital Finishing System.

“We listened to our customer’s ideas and suggestions,” said Mark D. Strobel, Primera’s vice president of sales and marketing. “They’ve helped us to make the CX1200e Color Label Press and FX1200e Digital Finishing System the most user-friendly and economical professional-grade digital label printing and finishing solution available.”

Major new features include additional language support (now included are English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese Traditional and Chinese Simplified); batch printing, including optional software and memory upgrades that allow different label artwork to be printed in the same run with coordinated automated digital diecutting on FX1200e; the ability to save profile setting for a streamlined workflow; and the ability to finish media in widths as narrow as 4.5”.

Primera products are sold in nearly 170 countries. The company is headquartered in Plymouth, MN, USA.
