Shelly Swanke, technical sales representative for Anderson & Vreeland (A&V), has received the company’s Chairman’s Award in recognition of her excellent service and never-give-up attitude over the past six years. The award was presented by Howard Vreeland Jr., chairman of the board.

Swanke is the first A&V employee to receive the Chairman’s Award for Excellence, which recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions and accomplishments to the company and to the flexographic printing industry. She has been instrumental in introducing direct laser engraving to leading companies in the flexographic printing industry. The presentation was made at a recent meeting in Denver, CO.

“While this award is our way of honoring Shelly,” says Vreeland, “it is really Anderson & Vreeland that has been honored by the conscientious and dedicated effort she has provided our company for so long.” Swanke provides sales and technical support to A&V’s customers throughout the Colorado area. She resides in Evergreen, CO, with her husband, Brandt, and daughters Julia and Stella.

Anderson & Vreeland is a supplier of flexo platemaking equipment and materials to the graphic arts industry. Headquarters is in Bryan, OH, USA.
