Luminer Converting acquires TAC Label Systems

The acquisition gives Luminer’s Red Lion, PA, facility added production capabilities.

Luminer Converting Group, Lakewood, NJ, USA has announced the acquisition of TAC Label Systems of Lake Ariel, PA, USA. The acquisition gives Luminer’s Red Lion, PA, facility added production capabilities including wider web printing, fan folding, and improved press efficiencies, according to Tom Spina, CEO of Luminer Converting Group.

Tom Algar, owner of TAC Label, will join the Luminer Converting Group. He will be focusing his efforts on sales and marketing for Luminer in the Northeast. Algar brings over 25 years of experience in all facets of the label printing industry to Luminer and will continue to work with his customers on a daily basis.

Spina reports that this acquisition is part of Luminer’s short- and long-term goals for business development through organic growth efforts and outside strategic acquisitions.
