The Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (PSTC) will present a special educational course for converting industry professionals at ICE USA 2013 in Orlando, April 9-11. They will join AIMCAL, CEMA and TAPPI Place as leading industry associations participating in the ICE USA Conference Program.
“We are delighted to welcome PSTC to the conference program as pressure sensitive tapes play such a critical role in the converting process,” says Bob Chiricosta, show director of ICE USA. “Their special session created for ICE USA will help converters better understand the many uses and benefits of PSA products.”
Pressure sensitive tapes are used in a wide variety of applications – from single and double coated splicing tapes used for overlap, butt, flying, and zero speed splicing applications as well as core starting, roll tabbing and securing, friction reduction, web traction and tension control, plate mounting for flexo and rotary presses, security seals or re-closable seals, screen printing, finishing, die cutting, and hot stamping to all manner of packaging and masking applications.
Chiricosta added PSTC is now part of the overall ICE USA 2013 comprehensive Conference Program that will begin on April 8 and include several valuable sessions offered by AIMCAL, CEMA and TAPPI Place. These sessions attracted several hundred attendees to the ICE USA 2011 Conference Program. Details of the 2013 educational sessions will be announced soon.
