Nine delegates from the China Packaging Federation (CPF) visited and toured Color Resolutions International’s (CRI) corporate headquarters and manufacturing plant in Fairfield, OH, during their travels this week to the USA.
The group came to the US from Beijing for a 9-day travel and tour trip. The delegation, along with their translator, an MBA student from the Illinois Institute of Technology, came to visit PackExpo being held in Chicago. Through the International Cooperation Division of the CFP and their friendly relations with NAPIM (National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers), meetings were arranged with CRI and other ink manufacturers in the US. They indicated that CRI’s reputation for their sustainability efforts were outstanding.
During the meeting with CRI, delegates expressed that ink is underrepresented in the China Packaging Federation membership which has about 6,000 members from various industries including paper, plastics and printing. Their goal is to help their industry to standardize policies and standards.
