Western Shield Label Company, a leading label converter in Southern California, has announced that it has acquired the assets of Southern California Label, LLC., a label printer based in Anaheim, CA, with expertise in the Health and Beauty (HABA) and Cosmetic markets.
With the addition of Southern California Label’s established customer base and assets, Western Shield further increases its foothold in the Southern California market and now has opportunities to increase share in the Cosmetic and HABA segments. “The acquisition of Southern California Label gives us access to some exciting new markets and helps diversify our customer base,” says Thomas Moyer, president of Western Shield.
“Southern California Label has built up a tremendous customer base and we feel privileged to have the opportunity to work alongside their team in servicing and growing the business.” adds Frank Connelly, of Western Shield.
“By joining forces with Western Shield, we will be able to offer an expanded line of products, printingcapabilities, and support for our customers. I’m truly excited to being working with Western Shield and I know that our customers will be the biggest beneficiaries of our partnership," says Ivan Narragon, president and founder of Southern California Labels.
“As far as Western Shield is concerned, one of the most important aspects of this partnership was bringing Ivan’s experience and 30 years of relationships to the Western Shield team. We look forward to working with Ivan for many years to come," adds Moyer.
Effective immediately, the company will do business under the Western Shield name in their 27,000 square foot facility in the industrial center of Rancho Dominguez, CA.
