Flexo Wash anilox roll cleaning system installed at EKU

The unit will help teach Eastern Kentucky University students the importance of deep cleaning anilox rolls.

Flexo Wash has announced the installation of an Anilox Roll Cleaning System at the Eastern Kentucky University Graphics Communications Management Program in the Department of Applied Engineering & Technology. Eastern Kentucky is located in Richmond, KY, and has been providing graduates to the printing and publishing industry since the 1960s.

David Dailey, Ed.D., of Eastern Kentucky, comments: “This unit will be used to teach students the importance of deep cleaning anilox rolls essential for high quality flexo printing. Flexo Wash recently cleaned the EKU Comco Cadet anilox rolls, which greatly assisted in achieving an Award of Excellence in Research at the 2013 Phoenix Challenge College Flexo Competition in San Diego, CA.”
