September 3, 2013

The acquisition marks I.D. Images’ fifth strategic acquisition in the last four years.

I.D. Images announced the acquisition of Hi-Tech Printing Co. of Cincinnati, OH, USA. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Hi-Tech Printing specializes in custom printing through sheet-fed, web-fed and flexographic printing. The company serves the printing industry and operates out of a 48,000 square foot facility.

The acquisition marks Brunswick, OH-based I.D. Images’ fifth strategic acquisition in the last four years. “Hi-Tech’s capabilities and high-value products align with our long-term strategic vision,” says Brian Gale, president and CEO of I.D. Images. He adds, “We are excited about the value we collectively bring to our customer base through the expansion of capabilities, services and solutions to drive new business with our partners. In particular, we are excited to add offset capabilities to our flexographic and digital printing operations.”

The Hi-Tech operations will continue to operate in its current location. I.D. Images plans to consolidate its other Cincinnati-based facility into the newly acquired facility in the near future.
