Rako Etiketten, headquartered in Witzhave, Germany, has recently ordered their its UV inkjet label press, the Durst Tau 330 from Chromos GmbH, the Durst distribution and service partner in Friedberg, Germany. The decision for this model with seven color stations (CMYK and white as well as orange and violet) for UV inkjet printing was made after a series of extensive printing tests.
The Rako Company, which claims to be the biggest user of digital offset printing in Europe, will develop with the Durst Tau 330 new applications. Jacob Steeger, member of management Rako Etiketten GmbH, says that the company will use the press to mainly produce typical inkjet applications very efficiently and economically. He comments, "With the Tau 330, Durst has developed an inkjet system with considerable potential for future development, which has established itself in a short time for applications with high demands in industrial environments."
The Tau 330 was first introduced at Drupa in May 2012.
