Telrol, a subdivision of The Labelmakers Group from Almere, the Netherlands, has acquired Q-Tronics, a label printer from Den Bosch. With this acquisition The Labelmakers Group broadens its range of self-adhesive labels in the food and retail sector.
Q-Tronics, formerly known as Megaflex, specializes in the production of labels for the food market and is a supplier of thermal transfer ribbons and printers. Q-Tronics operations will will be carried out at the Labelmakers headquarters in Almere.
The Labelmakers Group, a market leader in the Benelux region, is comprised of Telrol, Peha Labels, BioLabel, HACCP Label, LMG Ribbons, Jac-Stick, Kolibri Labels and now Q-Tronics. Following the acquisition, The Labelmakers Group now employs 230 people and features 60 printing and converting machines.
