SPGPrints will demonstrate its latest products in rotary screen and digital UV inkjet printing for labels and packaging at Labelexpo Asia, December 3-6 in Shanghai. Since SPGPrints was the first to introduce rotary screen printing at the ITMA Hannover in 1963, it will celebrate its 50th year of innovation at the Labelexpo this year with samples and a happy hour every day.
At the SPGPrints stand there will be a RSI Compact printing module on display, along with RotaMesh and RotaPlate screens and samples. The company will also showcase its expertise in UV inkjet printing.
On display will be SPGPrints’ RSI Compact print module which has a repeat size range of 12” to 18”, and available widths of 10” and 13”. Working above the mainframe of the press, the unit is easily repositioned in the printing sequence with the help of an optional sliding rail, and reaches speeds of up to 328 fpm (100 m/min).
Other rotary screen highlights at the SPGPrints stand include the re-engraveable RotaMesh screen for RSI systems, and the reusable RotaPlate screen; the cost-effective alternative for users of woven screen material. Both feature the ultra-stable electroformed pure-nickel construction, offering easy handling, high stability and resistance to breakage at relatively high speeds.
Of the company's 50th anniversay, Commercial Manager Bas Hoijtink says: “Looking back in time I am proud to say that SPGPrints’ products and innovations created a standard in the textile and graphic printing industries. As of today our products create an added value solution in optical and functional design for end users. Looking at global trends in the market I am confident to say that we have chosen the right direction in the past and more importantly, for the future in digital and rotary screen printing.”
