PC Industries' Graphic Vision 500 Series adds bar code decoding

January 2, 2014

The system displays the results for the operator so they can verify that the correct bar codes are being printed

PC Industries has announced that its Graphic-Vision 500 Series Web Viewers now offer bar code decoding. The digital web viewing systems - which are designed with industrial, high-performance parts - feature long-lasting, high frequency LED lighting, making them ideal for high-speed applications.

"First introduced in 1992, the Graphic-Vision line of web viewers has undergone more than 20 years of continuous development to make it the most versatile web viewer system on today’s market," the company says. "The GV-500 Series is the latest in the Graphic-Vision line, and includes new functionality in response to customer requests. With the introduction of bar code reading capability, the system gains the ability to decode most 1D linear bar codes and 2D data matrix codes.

"The system displays the results for the operator so they can verify that the correct bar codes are being printed. This new capability complements the GV-500’s key features, including dual high-frequency LED strobe lighting, touchscreen monitor, and two year warranty, making it one of the most versatile, easy-to-use, and reliable web viewers on the market."
