Electro Optic US is now the sole distributor of Bunting's magnetic cylinders to label printers in the United States and Canada.

Bunting Magnetics Co. and Electro Optic US have announced a narrow web flexographic printing and converting partnership which brings Bunting magnetic cylinders and Electro Optic US flexible dies to the industry through the Electro Optic US sales organization.  Electro Optic US is now the sole distributor of Bunting magnetic cylinders to label printers in the United States and Canada.

Announcing the partnership, Electro Optic US President Markus Marfurt says: "Our collaboration with Bunting Magnetics brings together the finest magnetic cylinders available and the world-renowned Electro Optic flexible dies. This arrangement will streamline the supply chain for these critical items, and ensure that printers and converters can look to a single source.”

Michael Wilks, Bunting Magnetics' printing product manager, comments, “Bunting is pleased to partner with Electro Optic US. Because magnetic cylinders are an infrequent purchase, we gain sales and service efficiencies by using the Electro Optic US sales organization for distribution. We look forward to a long and productive relationship with this most highly regarded flexible die producer.”

Electro Optic US was established in 2003 to serve the North and South American market. In 2012, a new manufacturing plant was opened in Alpharetta, GA, USA to meet demand for flexible dies in the Western Hemisphere.

For more than 50 years, Bunting Magnetics Co. has developed and manufactured precision magnetic products for the worldwide printing, automobile, plastics, food, electronics and recycling industries. Bunting magnetic printing cylinders are manufactured in Newton, KS, USA.
