Label Technology, Inc., a Merced, CA-based converter of pressure sensitive labels and flexible packaging, has announced that David Bankson will assume the role of chief executive officer for the company. Bankson, who currently serves as the company’s president, will succeed his father, John Bankson, who will remain as chairman of the company’s board of directors.
“Dave has done an excellent job taking over the president role a little more than two years ago and I believe that 2014 is the right time to consolidate his place as leader of the company with the additional responsibilities of CEO,” says John Bankson. “With his leadership and extensive printing experience Label Technology is positioned for continued growth and success.”
David Bankson comments: “I would like to thank J.B. for his hard work and dedication over the last 27 years. He has defined the company’s core values which influence and guide each Label Technology employee today. I am excited to build on the strong foundation formed under his guidance as we face future challenges and opportunities.”
