The Printing Industry Midwest (PIM), the association representing the graphic arts communications industry in Iowa, Minnesota. Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota, has announced that Lofton Label, a label and packaging company based in Inver Grove Heights, MN, has achieved Great Printer Certification.

The Great Printer Environmental Initiative is a certification program of the Printing Industry Midwest that recognizes members who go beyond and maintain compliance with all environmental, health and safety rules, regulations and laws.

Lofton Label serves regional, national and global Fortune 500 companies with a wide range of pressure sensitive product labels, on-sert booklet labels, dry release coupons and films. Lofton’s equipment division provides thermal transfer printers, thermal transfer ribbons, blank labels, label creation software, scanners, semi and fully automated label applying systems.

Mike Lane, Lofton’s CEO, comments, “Our employees deserve the credit for their ideas and actions to support the company’s environmental stewardship focus and we are very appreciative to PIM for the additional recognition.”

“It is an honor to add Lofton Label to the list of certified Great Printers,” says David Radziej, president at Printing Industry Midwest. “We commend the efforts of the all of Printing Industry Midwest certified Great Printers for their commitment to environmental and safety responsibility.”
