Canadian printer Pazazz has announced that its latest installation, the Mark Andy Performance Series P5 press, is the first to be installed in Quebec.
This flexographic press is a servo-driven machine, designed to optimize efficiency and increase print productivity. "The performance of the Mark Andy P5 will allow us to reach markets where the demands are ever increasing and the clients’ expectations are reaching epic levels," says Shawn Werbitt, president, Pazazz Labels.
According to Werbitt, an important benefit of the Perfomance Series P5 is the impact on the environment, with less substrate waste and consumables used. "We are always exploring ways to improve our productivity while at the same time reducing our waste. This new addition will enable us to continue working on achieving those standards," he says.
Additionally, another production advantage is that the press can print on a multitude of substrates, which allows the company to print on thin substrates up to a 14 pt board. "With this new acquisition of the Performance Series P5, we can continue to raise the bar of high quality label printing solutions," adds Werbitt. "The installation of this new press reinforces Pazazz’s commitment to staying up-to-date with technology and to always be searching for new solutions to better serve our clients."
