Labeltech, Colordyne Technologies (CDT), LasX Industries, and Delphax Technologies have announced that they plan to hold an Open House May 14-15 to live demonstrate two recently purchased CDT Production Class digital label printing presses. The CDT 1600-PC Sprint and the CDT 1600-PC Laser Pro units will be on display and printing live at Labeltech's premises, in IJsselstein, near Utrecht in the Netherlands.
The two Open House days at Labeltech will offer the opportunity for packaging manufacturers to view both the CDT 1600-PC Sprint's fast speed and high resolution printing, and the CDT 1600-PC Laser Pro's in-line laser cutting and finishing abilities. The CDT Production Class units installed at Labeltech are the first units to be installed in Europe following several successful installations in the United States. The CDT print engine, supplementing both these units, prints full process CMYK at 160 feet per minute (49 m/min) at 1600 x 1200 dpi resolution, thus replicating the look and feel of CMYK flexo while allowing for the flexibility of digital printing.
Starting at 11:00 am, the agenda for both days will consist of:
