manufacturer of slitting/rewinding, converting, finishing, and inspection machines for the label industry, has announced that starting May 1, 2014, its Technical Assistance Department will be open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. The company is based in Faenza, Italy.

This increase of an extra three hours daily is intended to meet Prati's objective to offer services that are in line with the needs of its global customer base. The increase in support availability reflects Prati's widening geographical sales penetration. Last month, the company announced an alliance with Gallus for entering the North American market.

The Technical Service initiative provides assistance on all products and offers 360 degree consultation – from machine setup for new products to suggesting accessories to processing given materials – and a remote training service for operators.
