Adams Label Company announced its acquisition of LabelOne Connect, Inc. located in Beaverton, OR, USA on July 11, 2014. LabelOne Connect, a converter specializing in high-quality wine labels, was founded in 1983 and employs 35 people. Based in Westlake Village, CA, Adams Label Company is a new entity that is focused on acquisitions of wine, spirits and beverage label printing companies. It is a sister company to Adams Wine Group, LLC.
Family owned and operated by Wilfredo and Ardie Rabanal, LabelOne Connect has excelled as a wine label printer for 31 years serving over 150 wineries. Formerly Dana Labels, LabelOne Connect was one of the very first companies to print pressure sensitive wine labels. “The decision to sell LabelOne Connect was a strategic effort to continue growing the business and ultimately provide a successful outlet for Adams Label Company to service the NW wine industry,” says owner Wilfredo Rabanal.
"David Bowyer, CEO of Adams Label Company, has plans to continue purchasing other label printing businesses throughout the United States and we are highly enthusiastic about his vision,” says Ardie Rabanal.
This acquisition will support Adams Label Company's business plan to acquire companies that strengthen its position in the market and provide additional geographic footprint in the industry. "This first acquisition for the newly formed Adams Label Company of LabelOne Connect brings benefits to all stakeholders," says David Bowyer, Adams Label Company president and CEO. "LabelOne Connect is complementary to our company not only from a regional perspective but to create new growth opportunities for the Adams Wine Group with world-class wine label printing. Their printing capabilities pair well with other eminent acquisitions that Adams Label Company has targeted in the near future. LabelOne Connect associates will benefit as a result of the strength of Adams Label Company’s structure and focused investments. Customers will benefit due to expanded capabilities that Adams Label Company has in addition to the outstanding quality, responsiveness and service which has been consistently demonstrated by LabelOne Connect."
