Avery Dennison has announced a new app for iPad devices. The free LabelNavigator app offers support for container design and material selection to brand managers, designers, converters and end users in the Home and Personal Care (HPC) segment.
“At Avery Dennison, we believe that freedom of choice is always a significant part of product differentiation – and a wellinformed designer is better able to meet the needs and expectations of the brand owner,” said Georg MullerHof, global segment director home and personal care. “Our LabelNavigator app provides an onhand technical reference tool as well as a virtual product gallery to allow multinational and regional brand owners to have the most uptodate information available at all times.”
In addition to listing information on material properties and performance, the LabelNavigator app also supplies educational information on topics such assustainability and shelf appeal. Users can take advantage of the Avery Dennison Greenprint analysis tool to determine the impact of pressure sensitive labels on the environment. Finally, users can browse Avery Dennison’s portfolio of sustainable materials, featuring FSCcertified papers.
The new Avery Dennison LabelNavigator app requires iOS 5.0 or later and is available in the App Store.
