Pechatny Express – Flexographia has installed a Gidue Combat MX2 in its production site in Moscow. Russian certified distributor Gidue RUS’ service center has carried out the installation of the press.
Pechatny Express is a long time partner of Gidue, and it is a Russian leader of label and packaging production.
The Gidue MX2 is Pechatny Express’ latest installation during the last 13 years. Its partnership with Gidue started in 2002 after deciding to add a Giude S-Combat for eight printing units and labels measuring 280 mm in width. Following 2002, the Russian converter added another S-Combat for labels of 280 mm width and eight printing units. Then in 2008, it added the third S-Combat of 370mm width and eight printing stations.
“Over the past few years, many Russian converters asked for a possible installation of the second diecutting unit,” says Evgeniya Chirkova, sales manager of Gidue RUS. “In September 2013 during Labelexpo Europe, Gidue presented the new Сombat MX2 (with two die-cutting units and register 360˚), and we immediately understood that this press model would have had great success in Russia.”
In 2011, Pechatny Express widened its product range and entered the flexible packaging market with a Gidue M5, 370 mm and ten printing units. The system was integrated with Gidue’s digital control of print pressures and register called Digital Flexo Technology.
“The Russian market has always been a high demanding market that is quite difficult to enter,” adds Cristina Toffolo, vice president, marketing at Gidue. “Therefore, the long-time cooperation with Pechatny Express is both a great result in terms of success and profitability for Gidue advanced technology and also a great demonstration of the power of our technology that strongly rewards all the efforts of our team.”
