Eagle Systems, a developer and manufacturer of foil enhancement equipment, has announced the company’s continued expansion by signing a distribution and support agreement with OMC sae of Spain.
With offices in both Barcelona and Madrid, OMC relies upon over 25 years of experience in the graphic arts/commercial printing sectors throughout the region. OMC will be supported locally by Eagle’s new European office in Warsaw, Poland.
Pawel Kusinski, managing director of Eagle Systems Europe will head the new European office.
“We are a family business operation, with almost three decades of experience in the national marketplace, specializing in machinery, supplies and equipment distribution for the Graphic Arts sector, both in offset and digital printing,” says OMC marketing director Michel Madoz. “We pride ourselves on meeting the needs of the national territory via a wide network of agents and collaborating companies.”
“Our agreement with OMC engages two industry leaders whose main objective is to serve the needs of the end user,” adds Mike King, Eagle president and CEO. “Like OMC, we strive to deliver each customer with the highest and most reliable quality tool in the market. In the end, it’s all about performance, short learning curves, high performance and rapid return on investment that impacts a commercial operation most. Working in unison with OMC in the Spanish print community, Eagle will reach the marketplace more efficiently and effectively, while having representation that mirrors both our vision and our ethical devotion to the end user.”
The Eco-Eagle Cold Foil System
The Eco-Eagle Cold Foil system is a value-added finishing technique for cold foil applications. The add-on system can retrofit to new or existing 70cm up to 200cm sheet-fed offset presses from most major press manufacturers.
It offers users the flexibility to apply a single 102cm width of foil or multiple widths of foil, in any combination, as narrow as 5cm. This ability reduces foil cost and consumption. In addition, the cold foil system operates on about the same amount of electricity as a 1,500 watt hair dryer, reducing energy demands in production environments. This year, Eagle Systems has added the ability to use a 16,000k foil roll, which allows for less change over during a job run.
