The Great Lakes Graphics Association (GLGA) has announced that Inland was a recipient in the 2015 Graphics Excellence Awards Competition. The judging was concluded on March 17-18, 2015, by a team of independent judges.
The company won two Awards of Excellence. Inland was awarded an Award of Excellence for its cut and stack category featuring Utah Brewers Cooperative Wasatch Last One In Lager. Inland also received an Award of Excellence for its cut and stack category featuring Henry Hotspur’s Hard Pressed for Cider.
A panel of out-of-state judges was brought in to examine the work. Each entry was critiqued on its own merit in a similar category of printed pieces. The judging criteria included registration, crossovers, clarity and neatness, sharpness of halftones and line drawings, richness, and tonal qualities of color, paper and ink selection, ink coverage, difficulty of printing, effective contrast or softness, finishing, bindery and overall visual impact.
“It is an honor to receive this award,” said Eric Haug, national account manager at Inland. “At Inland, we value producing outstanding finished products–just as these awards showcase.”
